Grazing Review Workshop – planning for 2019
Start the 2019 grazing season off on the right foot by joining AHDB and LIC grazing consultant, Sean Chubb, for a workshop looking at effective grass monitoring and budgeting. The 2018 grazing season was challenging, with some farms reporting grass yields down by up to 4t DM/ha. This workshop will review 2018 and discuss strategies for early turnout to increase utilisation, including:
- Learning how your technical grazing performance affects cash flow
- Lessons learned from 2018’s extreme weather
- How to set realistic targets for 2019
- What needs to be in wet and dry management plans
- How to set utilisation targets
The workshop is for those who work with a plate meter and paddock rotational grazing.
