In this webinar we explore the growing interest in the role of cut and carry systems and it's potential to reduce feed and forage costs. We will offer best practice tips to running a successful cut and carry system. 

Cut and carry (zero-grazing) systems, offer an alternative way to increase the amount of home-grown, high-quality forages used on dairy farms during the growing season, compared with grazing and feeding grass silage.

About the speaker:

Debbie McConnell joined the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute in Northern Ireland in 2016 as a dairy grassland scientist. Since then her research has included work on grass growth monitoring and forecasting, new technologies for grass measurement and zero-grazing. In 2016, Debbie was awarded a Nuffield scholarship investigating at the role of technology on dairy farms.
