Penybont farm will soon integrate a fully robotic milking system into their existing buildings and grazing infrastructure. Determined to ensure the new development is fit for purpose, Rob Davies (CowSignals vet) invites farmers currently using robots or considering robots to join a discussion on effective infrastructure design for robotic milking.
This practical workshop will discuss:
- What to look out for - CowSignals in robotic systems
- Identifying bottlenecks in production caused by reduced cow flow
- Managing the cow’s environment to maximise yield
- Practical methods to improve overall cow health and welfare and maximise performance
