  • Between April and May 2015 all regions saw a drop in milk price, the greatest decreases were seen in Wales, Midlands and the South West with a fall of 0.60ppl.
  • The average* milk price in May 2015 across all regions stood at 24.68ppl.
  • In May 2015, all regions saw an increase in daily yield compared with the previous month except the South and South East.
  • Between April and May 2015, butterfat percentage decreased across all regions. The average* Butterfat level stood at 3.91 percentage points in May compared with an average of 4.03 percentage points in the previous month.
