In an attempt to add value to milk and exploit consumers’ increasing demand for nutritional products, one of the world’s most successful brands is launching a new milk-based drink. Coca-Cola’s new product ‘Fairlife’ will contain enhanced levels of protein, less sugar than standard milk and will also contain no lactose. It is reported that the drink will retail at twice the price of standard milk.

With both fizzy drink and milk sales in the US in decline, Coca-Cola is hoping to tap into the protein drink market which is reportedly the fastest growing segment in the beverage category.
