SMP intervention sales continue

At the latest tender for SMP intervention stocks on the 19 February, 1,784 tonnes were sold. The minimum selling price was set at €1,631/tonne by the Commission, €9 above the previous tender. Offers ranged from €1,631-€1,681/tonne in price, with all offers accepted at this tender.
The latest sale means that the Commission will continue to tender for the foreseeable future, with 1,383 tonnes left to shift from Spain, Slovakia, Finland and the UK. The next tender will be on the 19 March.
