Forage source indicators of copper status in dairy cows

Aims & Objectives
To determine the effect of varying the ratio of grass silage to maize silage and offering high or low molybdenum and sulphur in the diet of the dairy cow on performance, health and copper status.

Expected Outcomes

  • To improve the efficiency of utilisation of dietary copper in a variety of dietary conditions to improve cow performance and health.
