Report: Mineral intake on commercial farms
Published 8 January 13
The aim of this report was to provide accurate information on current mineral inclusion levels on farm compared with recommended levels, with a view to reducing diet costs and/or improving cow performance, health and welfare. Fifty commercial dairy farms were randomly selected in the Midlands and North of England to determine the intake of 10 key minerals from all dietary sources.
