The Programme:  This is a joint meeting hosted by RAFT Solutions Ltd and AHDB Dairy.  RAFT

Andy Dodd Breeding & Fertility Specialist at AHDB Dairy and Neil Eastham from RAFT Solutions Ltd will look at how to use breeding tools to manage your herd’s future potential, including new developments to allow breeding for feed efficiency, and the introduction of genomics for coloured breeds in 2017.   In addition we will consider TB Advantage; a new genetic index published by AHDB Dairy to help you make informed decisions to breed cows which will have an improved resistance to bovine TB. 

We will cover:

  • Breeding Efficiency
  • TB Advantage
  • Your Herd & Herd Genetic Reports
  • Genomics
