Take action on Johnes!
Join AHDB Dairy and Penbode Vets to find out how you can take action today to control Johnes on your farm.
Johne’s disease is becoming ever more apparent and on the increase. It is a disease with devastating effects on the physical and economic performance of dairy herds – Cows with Johnes give less milk, have poorer fertility and are more likely to go lame – it is costing you money!
Milk buyers are taking a tough approach with suppliers who refuse to commit to Johne’s control plans and there will be increasing (international) pressure to adopt an effective control programme and monitor for infection within herds.
Topics covered include;
• Action Johnes – National Campaign
• What is Johnes and how does it affect my herd
• Case Studies
• Putting together a Johnes plan for my herd
Meetings start at 19:00. Supper included
