Dairy Crest hold Liquid milk price but Davidstow drops 1.5ppl

Dairy Crest (DC) is to hold its November milk price for its standard Liquid contracts but the Davidstow price will reduce by 1.5ppl from 1 November. DC say the Davidstow adjustment is to reflect market conditions, after eight months of price stability.

DC’s liquid milk suppliers will receive a supplementary payment for their October milk, off the back of support measures announced by Morrisons and Lidl. The processor currently estimates October’s milk supplement at 0.39ppl and November’s at 0.65ppl.
