Dairy Crest hold Liquid milk price but Davidstow price drops again

Published 29 October 15

In a repeat of last month’s announcement, Dairy Crest (DC) has confirmed it is holding the milk price for its standard Liquid contracts in December, but reducing the Davidstow price by 0.6ppl.

DC state that the drop in the Davidstow price is required to keep it competitive in the cheese market. However, DC also confirmed there will be no further reduction in the Davidstow price for the next three months. This will give stability to Davidstow suppliers until the end of February 2016.
