Join BVDFree and the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) for this event looking at how vets and farmers could work better together towards eradication of Bovine Viral Diarrhoea in the North-West. The afternoon will include an update on the progress of the BVDFree scheme, discussion on driving the scheme forward and an exchange of ideas on how to increase engagement of farmers in proactive herd health management and BVDFree.
Aims of the BVDFree Vet Workshops
- Investigate how the BVDFree scheme and database can be used as a tool to aid BVD eradication in the cattle herd.
- Build on vet’s skills as motivators of change to increase farmer uptake of BVDFree.
- Explore the role of collaborative vet working to eradicate BVD from your region.
